A

pursuit towards well-being and peace. Millie has lived and
traveled throughout the United States, Asia, the Caribbean,
and Central America. She currently resides in Mountain City,
Georgia with her husband, Roger, a retired Marine Corps
Officer.
Millie is the Past President of the Albany,Georgia Artists

College).
As a Marine Corps wife for twenty-five years, I painted
in many diverse environments...a "nomadic studio"
if you will. "Basements, attics, screened-in-porches
in Japan, extra rooms, spacious laundry rooms and back-yard
cottages"... gentle and major frustrations...always
a challenge!
I have painted since childhood but only recently began marketing
my work AND now I am settled in the mountains of northeast
Georgia...and another home-based studio which is almost
perfect. Very close to the western North Carolina Cherokee
Nation, I have conducted extensive research in order to
portray the "Spirit of the Cherokee Nation".
Thanks for visiting my website.
Sincerely,
Mildred Torres-Speeg (Millie)
